Nairobi City Stars ended Mathare United's three match winning streak after seeing off the Slum Boys 1-0 in a midweek FKF Premier League early kick off match played at Dandora Stadium on Wednesday.

Kelvin Etemesi's strike in the 47th minute was enough to hand Simba wa Nairobi maximum points as they moved 10th on the log with 11 points.

Mathare on the other hand dropped to fifth with 14 points.

In the second match, Tusker who played at the same grounds later saw off Mara Sugar 2-1.

Siwa Shaphan scored in the opening minute to hand the brewers a perfect start before Meshack Karani made it 1-1 in the sixth minute as fans enjoyed early showers of goals.

Ryan Ogam in the end ensured Tusker will head home with maximum points after netting the winner three minutes into the second half.

Tusker moved to fourth with 15 points after the win.

Other results saw Talanta defeat Ulinzi Stars 1-0 and move out of the relegation zone while Bandari edge out Kariobangi Sharks 2-0. Posta Rangers on the other hand thrashed Bidco United 3-1.
