The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has appointed Patrick Korir as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately, following the resignation of Barry Otieno.

Korir, who previously served as the CEO of Nairobi City Stars, steps into the role with a wealth of experience in Kenyan football.

Korir's background includes time as a football journalist and coordinator, making him a well-rounded choice to lead the Federation. His appointment comes as FKF aims for a smooth leadership transition, ensuring that ongoing projects and activities continue without disruption.

Barry Otieno, who has served FKF for several years, made the decision to step down, with the Federation expressing gratitude for his dedicated service.

Otieno will assist in the transition process, working closely with the FKF team to ensure seamless continuity during this period of change.

The FKF remains committed to advancing football in Kenya and believes Korir will play a crucial role in steering the organization towards greater success.

All scheduled programs and initiatives will proceed as planned under his leadership.
