St Joseph outsmarted their opponent during the finals played at Kipkeipkei Boys High School in Cherangany.

The new champions dominated the game that attracted hundreds of soccer fans.

Striker Simiyu Wekesa utilized a well-connected pass to put JOBO in the lead in the 35th minutes of the first half of the game.

JOBO, with a goal advantage against their opponents' returned to the field with confidence and put more pressure in the second half, wasting several chances.

Elkin Simiyu tapped in the second goal for the victor in the 78th minute before the game was disrupted at 89 minutes when solidarity fans entered the field to display disappointment.

The game was called off after the interference from the fans.

Wiyeta scored a sole goal against St Joseph's Girls to proceed to the regional competition scheduled for Bomet starting on July 16.

The Solidarity Boys represented Kenya at the East and Central Regional Secondary Schools competitions held at Kigali Rwanda last year.
