AFC Leopards produced a masterclass second half performance to thump FC Talanta 3-0 in a FKF Premier League match at Dandora Stadium on Sunday.

Emmanuel Lwangu gave Ingwe the lead three minutes to the hour mark before Arthur Gitego made it 2-0 in the 65th minute.

Kevin Kimani sealed the win in the 77th minute as Ingwe picked their 11th win of the season.

On the other hand, Talanta who are two points off the relegation zone, made their season final stretch more complicated as they now have to avoid defeat in their remaining matches.

At Police Sacco Grounds, golden boot hopeful Tito Okello kept pace with Benson Omalla after scoring twice to help Kenya Police not only breach their gap between them and Gor Mahia to nine points but also edge out Nairobi City Stars 2-1 win.

The South Sudanese international who had 13 goals before the match drew level with the Gor Mahia striker on 15 goals after netting for Police in the 7th and 30th minutes respectively.

Despite Samuel Kapen pulling a goal back for City Stars, Police held on to win and keep pressure on leaders Gor Mahia who continued to dominate the league after their narrow 1-0 over Shabana on Saturday in Kisumu.

Meanwhile, Tusker came from behind to edge out Murang’a SEAL 2-1.

Bonface Kweyu gave SEAL the lead in the 19th minute before David Odoyo leveled the score three minutes later.

Charles Momanyi netted the winner for the brewers in the 40th minute, a 2-1 lead they maintained until the final whistle.

Action continues on Wednesday as the league enters the final stretch with eyes on who will be relegated and who will win the Premier League title.
