Gor Mahia's title defense charge was given a check yesterday after Bandari pulled a shocking 1-0 win over the defending champions at Mbaraki Sportsground in Mombasa on Saturday.

Fidel Origa's strike in the 40th minute was enough for the dockers who held on to win their 13th game of the 2023-2024 season.

Victory lifted Bandari to second on the standings with 43 points, seven points behind Gor Mahia.

In Machakos, Nairobi City Stars played out to a 1-1 all draw against Bidco United.

Dennis Oalo gave City Stars a 1-0 lead after netting in the first half before Jacob Onyango rescued a point for Bidco in the 94th minute.

The draw leaves City Stars fifth with 39 points while Bidco sit 1oth with 32 points.
