APSONIC, a dominant force in Africa's motorcycle industry, has been unveiled as the official sponsor for the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations (Afcon) which kicks-off next month in Ivory Coast.

The monumental announcement came during the formal signing of the agreement, where Zhang Lian, President of the Sincerity Group, the parent company of APSONIC, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration.

Zhang said that this partnership would elevate Afcon 2023 to unprecedented heights, extending an invitation to football enthusiasts, motorcycle aficionados, and those who relish the fusion of sports and adrenaline to partake in this unique celebration.

"This groundbreaking partnership positions APSONIC as the exclusive motorcycle brand supporting the largest sporting event in Africa, scheduled to take place in Cote d'Ivoire from January 13 to February 11, 2024," Zhang said.

CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo Omba, added his perspective on the magnitude of Afcon 2023. Anticipating an audience of approximately 1 billion people from over 90 countries, he dubbed it "Africa's wake-up hour," emphasising the event's unparalleled significance on the continent.

Omba acknowledged the profound impact of APSONIC's venture into football sponsorship, emphasizing the call to unite passions, merge emotions, and create timeless memories.

He urged everyone to collectively become architects of this celebration, where victory is not confined to the field but extends to every step, on and off the playing ground.
