Harambee Stars striker Benson Omalla scored his eighth goal of the season as Gor Mahia bounced back to winning ways after seeing off Muhoroni Youth 2-0 in a FKF Premier League match at Raila Odinga Stadium on Sunday, in Homa Bay.

Fresh from scoring in the World Cup qualifiers Group F match where Kenya thrashed Seychelles 5-0, Omalla gave the defending champions a 1-0 half time lead after scoring in the 15th minute.

Chris Ochieng sealed the win deep into stoppage time with a 93rd minute strike for a 2-0 win.

The victory saw K'Ogalo close the gap on leaders Posta Rangers to within one point.

Gor have 24 points, one behind Posta Rangers, who hammered Shabana 3-1 on Saturday.

After 12 matches, Gor and Posta lead the title charge followed by KCB who saw off Murang'a SEAL 2-1.

Francis Kahiro scored in the 12th minute to give KCB a 1-0 half time lead before Haniff Wesonga made it 2-0 in the 48th minute.

Batts Awita netted SEAL's consolation in the 89th minute as the bankers moved third with 22 points.

In Bungoma, Kenya Police picked their fourth win of the season after hammering Nzoia Sugar 3-1 at Sudi Stadium.

David Okoth gave Police the lead in the 29th minute as Cheche Ochieng made it 2-0 at half time after netting in the 40th minute.

Josephat Oyugi pulled a goal back in the 62nd minute before Tito Okello sealed the win in the 72nd minute, a win that moved the law enforcers to ninth with 17 points.

In Nairobi, Oscar Paulo netted in the 90th minute as Kakamega Homeboys narrowly saw off Ulinzi Stars 1-0.

The win, their sixth of the season lifted them to fourth with 21 points, four points off leaders Posta Rangers.

Sofapaka remain bottom with eight points same as Muhoroni Youth.
