Brian Marita scored a late equaliser for Posta Rangers as the league leaders rallied from behind to force a 1-1 draw against struggling AFC Leopards in a FKF Premier League match played at the Ulinzi Sport Complex.

Marita's strike denied his former side Leopards maximum points as Rangers maintained their one point lead at the helm of the standings.

Kayci Odhiambo gave Leopards a second-minute lead before Marita returned to haunt his former club.

Elsewhere, Tusker and Shabana on Saturday returned to winning ways in the FKF Premier League ending a run of poor form in the top flight.

A 3-1 win over Nairobi City Stars granted a breathing space for Tusker tactician Robert Matano who had not won his last two matches against Murang'a SEAL (2-1) and Ulinzi Stars (1-0).

Michael Oduor, David Odoyo and James Mwangi struck for the brewers in the first half as Tusker led 3-0 at the break before Samwel Kapen netted City Star's consolation in the second half.

In Homa Bay County, Shabana FC ended their four-match winless streak after seeing off 10-man Nzoia Sugar 2-1 at Raila Odinga Stadium.

Nzoia were reduced to ten men after captain Harun Thomas was shown red for a dangerous foul on Dennis Ongeri two minutes into the match.

Vincent Nyabuto would take advantage of the numerical superiority to gift the hosts the lead in the 13th minute, a 1-0 lead that Shabana would take to the break.

In the final half, Brian Michira doubled the scores to 2-0 in the 46th minute before Victor Haki netted Nzoia's consolation.

The win saw Shabana move out of the bottom of the table to 14th with ten points as Sofapaka dropped bottom after Saturday's humiliating 5-0 defeat to Kakamega Homeboyz.

At the Police Sacco Stadium, KCB ended their two-game winless run with a 3-0 win over Bidco United. Francis Kahiro and Derrick Otanga and Herrit Mungai scored the goals for the Bernard Mwalala-led team.

At the Kasarani Annex, Derrick Nsimbabi's second half brace helped Bandari beat Kariobangi Sharks 2-0.
