KCB FC bounced back to winning ways with an emphatic 3-0 triumph over Bidco United in an FKF Premier League fixture at the Police Sacco Stadium on Saturday.

The opening goal came courtesy of Francis Kahiro, who, in the first half, soared above Bidco's defense to connect with a cross from Derick Otieno just 10 minutes into the game, giving KCB a well-deserved 1-0 lead at halftime.

The second half witnessed the introduction of Derick Otanga, who wasted no time making an impact. Within five minutes of stepping onto the pitch, Otanga doubled the lead by tapping home a rebound from Bidco's goalkeeper, John Otieno. The goal followed a powerful shot from James Mazembe that the Bidco custodian couldn't contain.

Herit Mungai sealed the victory with a perfectly executed free kick, sealing the Banker's win to secure the three points.

KCB's head coach, Bernard Mwalala, expressed his satisfaction with the resurgence of the team after the difficult last two fixtures against Sofapaka and Posta Rangers.

"We faced adversity in the last two games, losing to Sofapaka and being held to a goalless draw by Posta Rangers last week. Today's victory is a testament to the resilience and character embedded within this team. It's during challenging moments that true strengths are revealed, and the way the players bounce back showcases their determination to overcome setbacks."

KCB's captain Gabriel Andika said, "I am happy for the team. Our opponents kept on pushing us but we managed to repel them to claim the three points and a clean shit. We hope to maintain the same form and make sure we come back stronger after the break."

KCB, who have now accumulated a total of 19 points from 11 games played so far, will face Murang'a SEAL in their next fixture on November 26, after the international break.
