Defending champions Gor Mahia went level on points (19) with FKF Premier League leaders Posta Rangers after beating 10-man Shabana 1-0 in Wednesday's match at Kasarani Stadium.

Rooney Onyango's last gasp goal is all that K'Ogalo needed to pile more misery on Tore Bobe.

It was not the type of result the Bangbet-sponsored side was expecting after their coach Sammy Okoth rescinded his decision to resign following their 4-0 defeat to Ulinzi Stars over the weekend.

The mailmen have a chance to open a three point gap at the summit when they play Kakamega Homeboyz today.

At Kasarani Annex, Muhoroni Youth's winless run stretched to four matches after losing 3-0 to Bidco United.

Eric Michibu opened the scoring in the sixth minute before Chris Opondo and Thomas Wainana scored in the 27th and 30th minutes respectively for a 3-0 halftime lead. The Thika-based side would hold on to the lead to bag the maximum points.

In an earlier kickoff match, wasteful FC Talanta and Nzoia Sugar shared the points after playing to a 0-0 draw at the Ruaraka Grounds.

A similar outcome befell AFC Leopards who also played out to a barren draw against Kariobangi Sharks.

Ingwe picked their first win of the season last weekend when they saw off Nzoia Sugar 1-0 but their supposed restart to their season got a reality check after another draw.

Tusker's poor run also continued after losing to Ulinzi Stars 1-0. And it is Boniface Muchiri who returned to haunt his former club.

Muchiri's 25th minute goal helped Ulinzi climb up to sixth spot with 13 points while Tusker slumped to 11th with 11 points after their fourth defeat of the season.

Newbies Murang'a SEAL on the other hand continued with their fine start to the season after closing the gap between them and leaders Posta Rangers to within two points.

SEAL defeated 10-man Nairobi City Stars 2-1.

In Mombasa, Bandari withstood Kenya Police pressure to win 3-2 at Mbaraki as Sofapaka thrashed KCB 3-0.
