Ulinzi Starlets are the 2023 Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Super Cup champions.

Starlets retained the title they won in 2021 after edging out reigning FKF Women's Premier League champions Vihiga Queens 2-0 in the finals played on Saturday at Utalii College.

Joy Kinglady gave the FKF Cup champions a narrow 1-0 halftime lead before Mercy Airo sealed the title with the second goal in the 58th minute.

The soldiers won the Super Cup during its inaugural 2021 year when they edged off Thika Queens 11-10 on post-match penalties. The match had ended 1-1 during the regular time.

The clash was a curtain raiser for the 2023-2024 FFK Women's Premier League season that begins next week.

Starlets booked their spot at this year's finals after hitting Nakuru City Queens 3-1 in the FKF Cup finals last July.

In the upcoming season, both teams will clash once more, but this time Vihiga Queens will enjoy home advantage in the opening fixtures.
