Benard Mwalala began his stint at KCB Football Club on a positive note after leading the bankers to a 1-0 win over 10-man AFC Leopards in Friday's FKF Premier League match at Kasarani Stadium.

Derrick Otanga scored the winner in the 80th minute. KCB was not in action last week as their day-one opponents Kakamega Homeboyz were out of the country for their continental assignments.

Ingwe, who were held to a barren draw against Talanta in their season opener, were reduced to 10-men after Mousa Oundo was shown a second yellow card in the 88th minute.

At Police Sacco Stadium, Posta Rangers gave their hosts Kenya Police a hiding after humbling the law enforcers 3-0.

Curtis Wekesa netted in the sixth minute to hand Rangers a 1-0 halftime lead before new signing Jackson Macharia doubled the scores to 2-0 in the 77th minute. A late goal sealed the win for the mailmen who have four points after two matches.

In Kisumu, Dan Wafula scored for Nzoia Sugar before Collins Odhiambo equalised for hosts Muhoroni Youth on the stroke of halftime as the teams played out to a 1-1 draw.

Newbies Shabana FC collected their first point of the season after coming from behind to force a 1-1 draw against Talanta at Nyayo Stadium.

Kevington Machika thought he had secured his club maximum points in the 90th minute only for Justin Omwando to restore parity for Tore Bobe in the 94th minute.
