A host of national stars in different disciplines face each other as Kenya Communications Sports Organizations (Kecoso) Games begin at William Ole Ntimama stadium, Narok this afternoon.

The event started last week with the golf championships hosted at Nakuru Golf Club.

Three ministries, namely Information Communications Technology, Roads and Transport and Youth and Sports, and 13 parastatals falling under them have lined up their teams in the 42nd edition of the week-long games.

Two FKF Premier League clubs, Posta Rangers under Postal Corporation of Kenya (PCK) and Talanta FC will feature in the games, while coastal side Bandari FC pulled out at the eleventh hour.

The 13 parastatals are Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), Kenya Airports Authority (KAA), Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA), Postal Corporation of Kenya (PCK), Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), Kenya Ferry Services (KFS), Communication Authority of Kenya (CAK), Media Council of Kenya(MCK), Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA), Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) and Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB).

KCAA are the overall defending champions having scooped the Mawasiliano Shield last year in Kisii.
