St Anthony Boys popularly known as Solidarity Boys strengthen the pursuit to reclaim East Africa secondary school soccer title when they were crowned Trans Nzoia County champions.

Striker Aggrian Kibet's 75 minute goal against their rival Goseta revived the spirit for the reginal trophy.

The feared and celebrated national and reginal competitor secured the ticket to the finals after eliminating their main rival St Joseph's Boys with 2-0 at the semis.

Two goals from Gregory Junior in the 57 and 60 minutes respectively gave the solidarity Boys hope to the finals.

At the semis, St Anthony Boys dismissed St Mark from Cherangany 1-0 goals while St Joseph's Boys proceeded to the semis after their pool B counterpart Cheptenden were disqualified for allegedly fielding a non-student. Celebrations were felt at St Anthony Boys with the principal Mr Masibo confirming their dream to recapture the reginal trophy.

"Our journey to reclaims the East Africa regional title is unstopped.Our win is our hope is building," said coach Mayoyo.

In rugby sevens, Bwake Boys hammered St Anthony's Boys 14-0 to win the rugby seven's title

Meanwhile, Saint Patrick's High School - Iten Elgeyo Marakwet County Rugby Sevens Champions.

Saint Patrick's High School - Iten won 24-0 in a rugby seven aside final match against Lelboinet Boys High School today at Cheptongei grounds. Saint Patrick's qualified for the finals after winning 17-07 against neighbours Tambach in the semifinals. In the group stage, Saint Patrick's beat Lelboinet 5-0 and Tot Secondary 50-0 to book a place in the semis.

The win makes Saint Patrick's the EMC representative in the Rift Valley regional games to be held in Nyahururu on 18th July, 2023.

The coaching staff is optimistic of good results in the regional games.
