Omondi, Bwire return as Firat names provisional Harambee Stars quad

Gor Mahia winger Boniface Omondi and Tusker goalkeeper Brian Bwire returned to the national football team after being named in the 30-team Harambee Stars provisional squad on Monday.

Alongside Kakamega Homboyz's Robinson Kamura, the trio return to the Engin Firat training camp ahead of the four nations tournament, scheduled to be held in Mauritius from June 11th to June 18th.

This 30-man provisional squad comprises a blend of talented local-based players and several foreign-based players.

Among the new faces receiving their maiden call-ups to the national team are Simon Masaka (Sofapaka), Kevin Luke Otiala (Kariobangi Sharks), Charles Ouma (Kenya Police), and Moses Shummah (Kakamega Homeboyz).

Harambee Stars kick off residential training on Monday 5th June and are set to depart for Mauritius on June 10 2023.

They will be pitted against the hosts Mauritius, Djibouti, and Pakistan.
