Nzoia Sugar on Sunday revived their title ambitions after seeing off Kakamega Homeboyz 2-0 in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League match played at the Bukhungu Stadium.

James Kibande gave the sugar men the lead eight minutes after the break before Hassan Bejja sealed all the three points at the hour mark.

The victory saw Nzoia Sugar who many thought were out of the title race move back into contention alongside record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia and defending champions Tusker.

Nzoia remained third but on 60 points, four behind leaders Tusker on 64 points.

The brewers leapfrogged Gor Mahia on Saturday after their narrow 1-0 win over Kariobangi Sharks.
