AFC Leopards qualified for the semi finals of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Cup after edging out Bandari 3-0 in quarters at Kasarani Stadium on Sunday.

Harambee Stars striker Victor Omune, Keagan Ndemi (own goal) and Jafari Owiti scored in the opening 30 minutes of the match as Ingwe held on to book a spot in the last four.

The victory saw Leopards book Kakamega Homeboyz in the semi finals after the latter run over Kariobangi Sharks in an early kick off at the same stadium.

Homeboyz walloped Sharks 6-1 in a seven-goal thriller match that saw substitute Vincent Ogolla grab a brace. Hillary Otieno, Ambrose Sifuna, Felicien Okanda and an own goal by Leon Osiago added to the score sheet.

The two sides will have the opportunity to renew their western region rivalry that has been brewing for the past season.

The rivalry between Ingwe and Homeboyz has been one of its kind in recent years especially when the two teams meet at Bukhungu Stadium.

The second leg of the league fixture between the two sides was abandoned due to fan trouble that erupted in the first half.
