Record Kenyan champion Gor Mahia dropped two vital points after being held to a 2-2 draw by Posta Rangers in a FKF Premier League match played at Nyayo Stadium on Sunday.

Benson Omalla scored a first half brace that took his tally of the 2022-2023 season to 23 goals with nine matches left but they could not hold on to pick maximum points after the mail men equalised with two goals in the final half.

Despite the draw, Gor remained top of the standings with 53 points, two points ahead of defending champions Tusker who have a game in hand.

A win for Tusker will see the Robert Matano coached side leapfrog KOgalo at the top with a points.

At Kasarani Annex which hosted a double header, Nairobi City Stars thrashed bottom placed Vihiga Bullets 5-2 to move out of the relegation zone for the first time in three months.

Kelvin Etemesi scored a brace as Dennis Wanjala, Vincent Owino and Samwel Kapen sealed the win for City Stars who moved above Mathare United to 15th with 23 points. This is after the slum boys lost 3-0 to Nzoia Sugar.

In the second match, Bandari narrowly saw off Bidco United 1-0 courtesy of Rodgers Aloro's goal.

At Kasarani Stadium, Kennedy Owino and Kevin Okumu scored as KCB saw off Wazito 2-0.
