Record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia will resume their title chase when they host bottom-placed Vihiga Bullets as the FKF Premier League continues today (Wednesday) at Kasarani Stadium.

The local league returned from the 10-day international break on Tuesday where Nzoia Sugar moved second on the standings after completing a double over Ulinzi Stars in a 1-0 win at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma County.

Current leaders Gor Mahia will hope to extend their lead to seven-points as they face Bullets who have only won one match this season.

K'Ogalo are at the top of the 18-team lafue with 42 points from 20 matches.

All eyes will also be on top scorer Benson Omalla who was surprisingly dropped from Harambee Stars squad that played in a 2-1 defeated on Tuesday in Tehran.

Omalla has so far scored 19 goals in 2o matches and is chasing to break Eric Kapaito's 25 goals fete of two years ago.

Defending champions Tusker will welcome Bidco United at the Ruaraka Grounds as fans trade eyes on whether Robert Matano will hand debuts to new signings Michael Odour and Levin Odhiambo from KCB and Mathare United respectively.

At Nyayo, AFC Leopards will welcome Bandari as Kakamega Homeboyz play Bidco United.

The match pitting Soafapaka and Kenya Police has been postponed owing to more Police players being away on international assignments with Harambee Stars.
