Nzoia Sugar will be seeking to end their five-match winless run when they welcome Ulinzi Stars at Sudi Stadium Wednesday (today) as the 2022-2023 FKF Premier League resumes after a 10-day break.

The sugar men have lost one (Bandari) and drawn four matches (Gor Mahia, Kenya Police, FC Talanta and Posta Rangers) ahead of today's fixture and Salim Babu is confident his impressive form at home will continue.

"Our form this season at home has been magnificent and after the brief rest, am happy that we can now continue to maintain it as all our players are back from injury.

"We have not won in our last five games but I believe we have rested enough and we are ready to go again. We had lapses in our defense in our past matches where we scored but failed to defend well. All that is sorted now," said Babu who will be eyiong a double over Ulinzi.

Nzoia Sugar defeated Ulinzi 2-1 during their first leg encounter played in January at Ulinzi Sports Complex and a win today will see the sugar men complete a double over the soldeier for the first time in history.

On Wednesday, leaders Gor Mahia welcome bottom-placed Vihiga Bullets at Kasarani alongside other six matches.

Second and third-placed KCB and Tusker tackle Kakamega Homeboyz and Bidco United respectively as AFC Leopards host Bandari at Nyayo National Stadium.
