AFC Leopards are two-points off the top four after stretching their unbeaten run to 10 matches as the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League second leg kicked off this week.

Leopards on Thursday saw off relegation threatened Wazito 1-0 in a match that was marred with controversies and long stoppages at Kasarani Stadium.

The game was delayed for almost 30 minutes after Wazito players refused to get back to the pitch after half time due to alleged attack on their chairman Moses Adagala.

Kelvin Wesonga's own goal in the 32nd minute gifted Ingwe all three points.

The win took Leopards to position five above Kenya Police with 32 points, two points off fourth placed Tusker.

Ingwe are also six points behind leaders and arch-rivals Gor Mahia who top the table with 38 points.

Meanwhile, Wazito continue to battle to avoid relegation as they are second from bottom in the 18-team table with 10 points from 17 matches.

Vihiga Bullets are bottom with four points as Nairobi City Stars close the bottom three with 13 points.

AFC Leopards coach Patrick Aussems said he was happy with the win.

Ingwe are yet to lose a match since their last defeat on January 14 when they surprisingly lost 2-1 to Wazito in Kisumu.
