Carabao Cup semi-final draw: Man United face Nottingham Forest and Southampton take on Newcastle

The draw for the League Cup semi-finals will see Nottingham Forest play Manchester United, while Southampton will take on Newcastle.

On Tuesday night, Marcus Rashford continued his hot scoring streak as his two late goals helped Manchester United to a 3-0 Carabao Cup quarter-final win over Charlton .

On Wednesday, Nottingham Forest beat Wolves 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

Southampton, meanwhile, will face Newcastle, with the first leg at St Mary's.

This is after Southampton stunned Manchester City to book a place in the semifinals of the English League Cup on Wednesday.

First legs to be played on January 24 and 25.
Second legs to be played on January 31 and February 1.
