Migori Youth will kick off the new 2022-2023 National Super League (NSL) with a match against Muranga Seals at Migori Stadium after reinstated Football Kenya Federation (FKF) announced the second tier football league in the country will kick off on November 26.

The federation said only 19teams shall be participating in the 2022/2023 Super League season after the relegation of Zoo FC to the FKF Division One League.

APS Bomet and Fortune Sacco who were dealt a blow after FKF declared the 2021-2022 seasons null and void will begin fighting for redemption with matches against SS Assad and Vihiga United respectively.

The two teams were gearing up for life in the top flight after topping last season's table but their hopes went up in the air when the FKF Executive Committee delivered the killer shot on November 9.

The 2021-2022 FKF Premier League, National Super League, Women Premier League, Men's Division One, and Women's Division One leagues will not be recognized and have been declared null and void."

"Additionally, there will be no promotion or relegation in the FKF Premier League, National Super League, and Women Premier League," read a letter signed by FKF CEO Barry Otieno.

The declaration meant that the two will remain in the Super League with Mathare United and Vihiga Bullets remaining in the top division.

Bomet will tackle Assad at Bomet Stadium while Fortune will play Vihiga at Wang'uru Stadium according to the fixtures released on Friday.

Gusii will host Kisumu All Stars at Awendo Green Stadium while Shabana will take on Kajiado FC who initially operated as Dandora Love.

Meanwhile, Dandora Love FC and Muhoroni Youth FC have changed their club names to Kajiado FC and Darajani Gogo FC respectively after the successful takeover of their club's Management.
