Former Kenya Premier League champion Gor Mahia can breathe sigh relief after the club was given a clean bill of health to play at Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani.

Gor were handed a massive reprieve to once again hold their home games in Nairobi.

The green army posted the update on their official social media account saying that the team will be hosting Kakamega Homeboyz on Saturday in a Kenya Premier League match.

‘’We take on Homeboyz in a league match on Saturday at Kasarani stadium,’’ read a statement.

In March this year, K’Ogalo were slapped with a ban from hosting their matches in the city forcing the team to relocate to Kakamega’s Bukhungu stadium.

This was after Gor fans invaded the pitch during a league match against Vihiga Bullets which ended in a match cancellation leaving behind massive destruction at the stadium.

Gor are in the fifth place of the Kenya Premier League with five games to go have 47 points twelve behind leaders Kakamega Homeboyz.
