Gor Mahia seek redemption against Wazito

Record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia will be seeking to bounce back to winning ways when they host Wazito in a FKF Premier League match set to be played at Narok Stadium on Saturday.

Gor are winless in their last two matches where they have lost 2-0 to newbies Kenya Police and drawn 1-1 against Sofapaka.

In their last nine matches, Gor have won only two matches, and despite bringing in new coach Andreas Spiers, no change has been witnessed.

Their poor form has left K’Ogalo seventh in the log on 35 points, 14 points behind league leaders Kakamega Homeboyz.

Despite that, Spiers will be hoping to bounce back by beating Wazito, who are battling relegation.

The Moneybags are 16th on 20 points after losing their two consecutive matches 2-0 and 3-0 to KCB and Tusker respectively.

The Fred Ambani-led team currently are in the playoff spot and are five points adrift of Nzoia Sugar who occupy the 15th position in the log.

On Sunday, Kenya Police will be looking to make it two wins in a row when they take on AFC Leopards in a rescheduled FKF Premier League match at Nyayo National Stadium.

Kenya Police head into the game after halting their seven-match winless streak with a 2-0 win over Gor at Moi Stadium in Kisumu last weekend.

It was the first win for newly appointed coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo who took over from John ‘Bobby’ Ogolla only a week to the match.
