Defending champions Tusker FC will be seeking to bounce back to winning ways when they host bottom-placed Vihiga Bullets in a midweek FKF Premier League match to be staged at Ruaraka grounds on Thursday.

The Brewers have lost their last two matches against Nairobi City Stars and Posta Rangers but they will be out to put behind their disappointing form that has left them 13th in the log with 16 points.

AFC Leopards on the other hand will be out to redeem themselves after their last 3-1 defeat to Kariobangi Sharks when they host Mathare United at Nyayo Stadium. Ingwe are five points off the relegation zone.

However, focus will be on FKF Premier League leaders Kakamega Homeboyz who will host second-placed Nairobi City Stars in a top of the table clash at Bukhungu Stadium.

A victory for Bernard Mwalala’s charges will see them open an eight-point gap between them and City Stars who are tied on 26 points with Gor Mahia but separated on goal difference.

Homeboyz have an upper hand going into the contest having won three out of the four past meetings between the two sides.

Furthermore, the Kakamega-based outfit has never lost to City Stars while at home but they will have to worry of Simba wa Nairobi's current form. The visitors have racked up eight wins so far after 14 matches played.

Thursday Fixtures

Bandari v Wazito (Mbaraki Stadium)

Kakamega Homeboyz v Nairobi City Stars (Bukhungu Stadium)

Tusker v Vihiga Bullets (Ruaraka Grounds)

AFC Leopards v Mathare United (Nyayo National Stadium)
