Newbies Kenya Police thrashed Bidco United 3-0 as they moved four points above the relegation zone in an FKF Premier League match played at Kasarani on Sunday.

Clifton Miheso, Charles Ouma, and Clinton Kinanga scored for Police to grab all three points and register their third win of the season after a difficult start to the season.

Miheso opened the scoring for Police at the half hour mark from the spot after the referee adjudged Kassim Mwinyi to have handled the ball in the box and awarded a penalty.

Three minutes before the break, Ouma doubled the scores after converting Duke Abuya’s cutback cross to hand Police a 2-0 halftime lead.

In the final half, Kinanga sealed all the three points after finishing off a beautiful counter attack which caught Bidco defense unaware.

The win saw Police leapfrog Bidco and move to 11th in the log with 11 points.

Bidco on the other hand dropped to 13th with 10 points.

KCB and Kakamega Homeboyz who won their matches on Saturday are joint top with 21 points after 10 rounds.
