Gor Mahia on Sunday were knocked out of the Caf Confederation Cup after a 1-1 draw with AS Otoho d’Oyo of Congo in the second leg of their Caf Confederation Cup play-off at Nyayo National Stadium.

Roland Okouri scored for the visitors in the draw to cool any threat from the hosts who despite scoring through John Macharia could not find the net again.

The Congolese charges came into the match with a slim 1-0 advantage from the first leg which came to matter at the final whistle as the draw saw Otoho qualify for the group stages with a 2-1 aggregate score.

Gor Mahia started the match on the wrong foot after finding themselves trailing 1-0 inside the opening 10 minutes.

Roland Okouri who scored the winner during the first leg played in Congo returned to haunt K'Ogalo when he gave the visitors a two-goal advantage with a goal in the ninth minute after tapping in a rebound from close range with Gad Mathews left with nothing to do.

The lead was however short lived after Macharia took advantage of confusion and melee in Otoho box to score into an empty net when the visitors goalkeeper miscalculated his move in the 12th minute.

No goals were scored onwards till the 90th minute as Otoho held on to qualify on aggregate.

Elsewhere, Kenya's other representative in the competition, Tusker, are away to Tunisian side CS Sfaxien, with the match starting at 8pm.
