Ulinzi Stars came from a goal down to share the spoils against newbies Talanta FC when the two teams settled for two all draw in an evenly contested Football Kenya Federation Premier League match at ASK Nakuru Showground on Sunday.

It was a tale of missed by the two teams in the second half for Ulinzi Stars who should have won the match by at least two clear goals but poor defending cost them the three valuable points against Ken Kenyatta coached side who however celebrated for snatching a point from the soldiers.

However, Kenyatta was not a happy man at the end of it when Louis Masika levelled for the homeboys with only a minute to the final whistle to the chagrin of Kenyatta who refused to talk to the pressmen.

During the match, the soldiers drew the first blood in the second minute through man of the match Masuta Masita who unleashed a powerful volley past Talanta custodian Kevin Otieno.

Masuta should have added another goal ten minutes later when his powerful drive went into the waiting hands of Otieno (Kevin) following an earlier similar attempt by Hillary Simiyu.

Anthony Gicho levelled for Talanta in the 38th minute from a penalty after Kevin Ouma had handled in the box and the referee did not hesitate to point at the spot for a one all draw at the break.

The second half proved tricky for both teams as each side squandered a tale of missed chances before Mohammed Sebi sent shivers on the Ulinzi technical bench with a classical goal in the 80th minute from a goalmouth melee.

With only a minute to the final whistle, Louis Masika levelled for the homeboys.
