Kakamega Homeboyz on Sunday thrashed Ulinzi Stars 3-1 in an entertaining round 23 Football Kenya Federation Premier League match played at Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Showground in Nakuru.

The win saw Homeboyz end their three-match winless run.

Shami Kibwana scored a brace and assisted in Allan Wanga’s goal as John Njuguna pulled one back for Ulinzi who have now conceded seven goals in two matches.

The win moved Homeboyz to ninth in the log with 28 points.

Former Gor Mahia midfielder Juma would come to life in the 51st minute to restore parity for the 2009 champions.

The draw left Sofapaka 11th in the standings with 28 points as Vihiga remained 15th with 16 points.

In Mombasa, William Wadri netted in the 63rd minute to salvage a point for Bandari in a 1-1 draw against Nairobi City Stars.
