Chrispin Oduor scored at the death as bottom-placed Mathare United on Wednesday registered their third win of the season after narrowly edging out Vihiga United 2-1 in a tight Football Kenya Federation Premier League match played in Narok.

Kennedy Ochieng gave the relegation-threatened side a first-half lead after netting in the 26th minute before Lawrence Luvanda restored parity with five minutes of regular time left in the timer.

Oduor would however break the hearts of Vihiga fans after scoring in the 91st minute to give the slum boys an important win as they seek to turn around their recent poor form.

Despite the win, Mathare remain rooted at the bottom of the FKF-PL standings with 14 points, two points below safety position.

Vihiga United remain 16th with 15 points with the defeat preventing them from getting out of the relegation zone.

Gor Mahia winless run stretched to three matches after Bandari held them to a barren draw in a tight match played at Utalii Grounds.

The defending champions headed into the match in the wake of a 0-0 draw against Wazito and a shocking 2-1 defeat to struggling Western Stima and needed a win to keep their title ambitions alive.

However, Bandari, fresh from their massive 4-1 win over Kariobangi Sharks came out of the match with a point that sees them remain sixth with 32 points.

Gor remain fourth with 39 points, eight points behind leaders Tusker.
