Paul Pogba caused some confusion when he was spotted wearing a sleeve on just one of his arms during Manchester United's Europa League win over Granada on Thursday.
But the Frenchman has actually been wearing the sleeve covering his left arm for the best part of the season.
"It started with the pain, I had the pain [in the left elbow]," Pogba explained in an interview on Man United's official website.
"It actually started with my right elbow, so I put it on my right, and I had the same problem with my left, so I started playing with this to get it warm instead of the strapping. It's tight on my elbow.
"I've been playing with this and it's just natural now, just for security."

Pogba has enjoyed a good season at Manchester United, netting five in all competitions as the Red Devils have made the Premier League's number two spot their own.
The World Cup winner was on target on his return from injury against AC Milan in the Europa League before setting his teammates up to score four in his next five games.
His elbow appears to be on the mend now, but Pogba plans to continue wearing the sleeve as he's become used to pulling it on on matchday.
"Now it's [associated with] me," the 27-year-old midfielder continued. "When people see that, they think of me. It just becomes me."
