Castro Likhanga's 60th minute goal denied KCB a chance to cut Tusker FC lead to within four points at the top of the FKF Premier League after both teams played to a one-all draw at the Utalii Grounds yesterday.

The Bankers had the chance to cut Tusker's lead after the latter drew with City Stars on Saturday, but Likhanga had other ideas when he cancelled Derrick Otanga's ice-breaker in the 49th minute.

The two points dropped left KCB six points adrift of Tusker who top the standing with 36 points. KCB, though, still has a game in hand.

In a weekend of surprises, Kakamega Homeboyz squeezed a second victory on the trot while Ulinzi Stars dropped two points on the road.

Homeboyz beat third placed Sofapaka to move seventh while Nzoia Sugar handed Ulinzi a ninth draw of the season.

Ulinzi took an early lead after John Njuguna powered past Humphrey Katasi with just 15 seconds played.

But the host spoilt the day for the visitors with a James Kibande equaliser in the 36th minute.

Alex Opoku scored Homeboyz's lone goal in the seventh minute.
