Harambee Stars hit camp for 2021 Afcon Qualifiers

Harambee Stars has kicked off training ahead of the upcoming ="https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/topic/harambee-stars">2021 AFCON Qualifier The players reported to camp over the weekend  and will break from camp on Wednesday.

24 local-based players took part in the session with Ulinzi’s James Sarun, the Sofapaka duo Michael Kibwage, and Lawrence Juma missing the session due to club assignments in the ="https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/topic/harambee-stars">BetKing Premier League< while Gor Mahia’s  Benson Omalla is out on school assignments.

Coach Jacob Mulee noted that the team’s first day of training was a success.

“Today was an exciting first training session as we gauged the players and as the camp progresses we will take our sessions one step at a time and hopefully gunner, a positive result at home,” said coach Mulee.

Stars are set to play Egypt, at home, on March 22 and Togo, away, on March 30in the final rounds of the 2022 AFCON Qualifiers.
