Manchester United welcome West Ham to Old Trafford tonight in what is expected to be a positive rejoinder to the thrilling, but disappointing 3-3 draw against Everton in the Premier League.

The Red Devils lost the chance to keep up the pace with noisy neighbours Manchester City after dropping the ball in the final minutes against the Toffees, leaving them five points behind having played a game more.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, however, will look to bounce back to winning ways in the FA Cup, where he faces former Man United boss David Moyes, who looks to have re-invented the Hammers.

Solskjaer has confirmed Paul Pogba will miss the clash and is expected out for a few weeks due to an injury he picked up against Everton.

Pogba is also expected to miss the UEFA Europa League clash against Real Sociedad and Premier League matches against West Brom, Newcastle and Chelsea.

"It's an injury that will take a few weeks to heal,” Solskjaer told press on Monday, February 8.

"He's just started his recovery, working with the medical staff and we'll get him back as soon and as safely as we can. Of course, Paul has been very important for us and we're not going to take any risks. So it is a few weeks definitely," he added.

Eric Bailly is also back in training but is not expected to feature against West Ham tonight.

Man United’s defensive partnership could see Alex Telles come in for Luke Shaw, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back, Victor Lindelof and Captain Harry Maguire set to start.

With Pogba’s absence, Dutchman Donny Van de Beek could start alongside Brazilian Fred, with Bruno Fernandes completing the midfield three.

Edinson Cavani is expected to lead the way in attack alongside Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood.

Man United predicted lineup: Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Telles, Van de Beek, Fred, Fernandes, Greenwood, Rashford, Cavani.
