Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was overheard shouting: "Marcus, he cannot defend!" while spurring Manchester United on against Arsenal.

The Red Devils boss screamed from his technical area as he encouraged the England international to run forward with the ball.

It's not 100 per cent clear who Solskjaer was referring too, but it appears he was talking about either Cedric or Gabriel Martinelli.

It is perhaps more likely that the comment was aimed at Cedric, given he is on a booking and playing in an unfamiliar left wing-back position.

Manchester United are looking to bounce back with a win against Arsenal after dropping points in a shock defeat by Sheffield United last time out.

But the Red Devils were beaten by the Gunners in the first fixture between the two sides at Old Trafford earlier in the season.

United are currently second in the Premier League, with Manchester City four points ahead of them following their win over the Blades this Saturday.

A win for the Red Devils would see them close the gap on City to a point.

Arsenal meanwhile have won four of their last five games and are currently ninth - on joint points with London rivals Chelsea.

Victory for the Gunners would see them leapfrog the Blues and Everton on goal difference, moving to seventh, just behind bitter rivals Tottenham.
