Manchester United star filmed smoking and playing with friends – flouting social distancing rules

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo is in hot soup after he was filmed flouting social distancing and lockdown rules.

The 30-year-old, who is currently in loan at Estudiantes, was caught on camera – playing cards and smoking with friends, the Guardian reports.

It is reported the video was taken by his brother Franco, who uploaded it on Instagram, later deleting it.

Man United boss Ole Gunanr Solskjer is reportedly not impressed by Rojo’s behaviour, English media outlet the Time reports.

As of Monday, April 4 3:00 pm, Argentina had recorded more than 4700 covid-19 cases with well over 240 deaths.

Argentina’s President Alberto Fernandez extended the country’s lockdown until May 10.  

Rojo is not the only footballer found flouting lockdwn rules. A group of Tottenham players, Jack Grealish and Moise Kean are among those caught on camera.
