Wazito football club secures partnership with Suman Microfinance Bank

Kenya Premier League side Wazito FC has welcomed Sumac Microfinance Bank as its certified partner.

Through a statement on their official website, the club was pleased to announce the partnership with Sumac – one which will see them wear have the bank’s logo on their kits.

“Wazito FC is pleased to welcome Sumac Microfinance Bank as it’s official partner. Sumac, through its parent company ADK, becomes the first partners for the club. The partnership will see Wazito FC jersey bear the bank’s logo: ADK+Sumac,” read part of the statement.

The club’s CEO Luthers Mokua was glad Sumac agreed to partner with them.

“The club welcomes this important partnership at a critical time in the league, as the team works to exit the relegation zone. Commenting on the partnership, club CEO Luthers Mokua was grateful that the bank bought into Wazito’s vision, which is a strategic decision that will ensure exposure of the logo to thousands of Kenyans, giving visibility to the brand,” continued the statement.

Wazito is in danger of being relegated to the second tier of Kenyan football as they sit in 17th place with 23 points after 26 matches played.
