Olunga completes move to Japan

Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga, 24, has joined Japanese side Kashiwa Reysol after completing a three-year deal from Chinese side Guizhou Zhicheng.

Kashiwa Reysol on Friday announced they had bought Olunga from Guizhou Zhicheng in what is reported to be a Sh300 million move and will be paid Sh15 million per month.

Olunga moved to China after leaving Swedish Djurdargens IF in January 2016. He scored 12 goals for Djurgardens during his one-year stint at the Swedish side.

He made his debut for Girona FC against Sevilla in September to become the second player from Kenya and East Africa at large to play in the Primera Division after McDonald Mariga who is also the younger brother to Victor Wanyama of Spurs.
