Manchester United have been drawn against Robin van Persie’s Fenerbahce side in the group stages of the Europa League.

The Red Devils have also been pitted against Feyenoord and Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk for their first ever tilt at the Europa League’s group stage.

Dutch Van Persie striker left Old Trafford for the Turkish side in 2015 after netting 48 Premier League goals for the Red Devil and will now return to face his former side, United, as well as Feyenoord - the club where he burst onto the scene.

Southampton are the only other Premier League team in the competition and have been pitted alongside Italian giants Inter Milan, Sparta Prague and Hapoel Beer Sheva.
