Chelsea are facing a fight to keep hold of midfield enforcer Nemanja Matic, as Serie A champions Juventus are lining up a £17 million bid to lure him to Turin.

Matic endured a tough season after being instrumental in the Blues’ 2014/15 title-winning season, but it is believed incoming boss Antonio Conte wants to keep the Serbian at Stamford Bridge.

Juventus are also in talks to sign Chelsea winger Juan Cuardrado on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell there last season.
