London: Alexis Sanchez has been urged to leave Arsenal and join Bayern Munich.

The Gunners forward, who scored against Crystal Palace this weekend, has been linked with the exit door after a disappointing season at the Emirates.

And when asked if he is keen on a reunion with his international teammate Arturo Vidal said: "Hopefully!

“We have played together since playing for the Under-20s, so it would be nice to play with him again," he is quoted as saying by the Metro.

Wenger left stunned by level of abuse from fans

Arsene Wenger was left shell shocked by the level abuse from Arsenal fans after his team’s latest meltdown.

Angry supporters near the dug-out turned viciously against Wenger and screamed foul mouthed abuse at the Arsenal manager.

According to witnesses, it was some of the worst, loudest and most abusive that Wenger has ever suffered during his 19 years at Arsenal.

They told him to “f*** off” and urged him to go now as the mood among fans has turned nasty at the Emirates.

One witness said: “He cannot have not been aware of it. It was very close, personal and nasty. It’s some of the worst that people have ever seen.”

Wenger has already said that he is determined to stay and see out the final year of his £8m-a-year contract.

Leicester youngster wanted

Arsene Wenger is back in for Leicester teenager Ben Chilwell, writes Mirror Football's John Cross.

England Under-20s left back Chilwell, 19, has been offered a new deal by Premier League leaders Leicester and they remain hopeful he will sign.

But the Foxes have struggled to agree a deal as Chilwell knows Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all watching developments. Chilwell could command £18,000-a-week elsewhere.

Chilwell has also not been playing regularly even though he is seen as a big prospect and trained with England’s senior squad at St George’s Park last month.

Arsenal’s England left back Kieran Gibbs could go this summer and Chilwell is seen as a potential long term successor.
