Manchester United 's teenage star Anthony Martial is reportedly using video bingo to help him learn English.

The Red Devils' French youngster knows only a handful of English words and finds it difficult to communicate with teammates and coaches.

However, after taking the advice of countryman and teammate Morgan Schneiderlin, Martial has decided to speed up the language learning process in a somewhat unorthodox fashion.

A source is quoted by Daily Star Sunday as saying: "Anthony is determined to learn enough English to get him going. He struggles but he wants to do something about it.

"The lad is lucky to have someone like Morgan around - he really is his eyes and ears. Morgan reckon's it's best for Anthony to work on his numbers before moving on to letters and small words.

"He's a cracking young lad but for some reason English just seems to have passed him by."

Martial has had an instant impact at United, netting four goals in his first five games for the club.

He failed to net in United's 3-0 win over Sunderland on Saturday but grabbed a fine assist for Wayne Rooney to bag his first Premier League strike of the season.
