Man United player set for Sunderland switch

Sunderland are in talks with Manchester United over a possible loan deal for Adnan Januzaj.

The forward featured 21 times for the Red Devils in all competitions last season, but started just seven games under Louis van Gaal.

Januzaj’s agent claimed earlier this summer that the young Belgian star was a key part of Van Gaal’s first-team plans.

However, the summer signing of Memphis Depay and Pedro’s imminent arrival could push his client even further down the Old Trafford pecking order.

Sunderland are in negotiations to bring Januzaj to the Stadium of Light on loan, and Van Gaal could be tempted to send the starlet out to their Premier League rivals to get regular game time.
