Why Ashley Cole snubbed Arsenal 'Invincibles' documentary

Ashley Cole has explained his decision not to attend the showing of the Arsenal's 'Invincibles' documentary.

Members of Arsenal's 2003/04 title-winning campaign met up this week to chart their record-breaking season, in which they went the full term unbeaten.

However, their former left-back, who acrimoniously joined Chelsea two years later, was a notable absentee, and he has taken to Twitter to explain his no-show.

Thierry Henry scored 30 goals while Arsene Wenger's men won 26 games and drew 12, on their way to the incredible feat of going a whole season without losing a single match.

Arsenal finished the season with 90 points, scoring 73 goals and conceding 26 - by far the best stats in the league come the end of the season.

The Gunners were the first team since Preston North End in 1888 to complete a top-flight season without losing a single game.
