Real Madrid have warned United off Cristiano Ronaldo, with president Florentino Perez insisting the 28-year-old forward will sign a new deal to end his career at the Bernabeu.

REAL MADRID have on Wednesday issued a fresh hands-off warning to Manchester United over Cristiano Ronaldo.

President Florentino Perez has once again insisted Ronaldo will sign a new deal and end his career at the Bernabeu.

Speculation has lasted for several months that Ronaldo will quit the Bernabeu and return to Old Trafford this summer.

But Perez said: “Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world and Real Madrid turn around him.

"I can assure you that he will finish his sporting career here. We have not received any offers.”

However, despite his insistence Perez has yet to convince Ronaldo to extend his contract which has only two years to run.

The longer it goes on like this the more Madrid will be under pressure as they will risk losing their £80million world-record signing for a reduced fee.

Perez also insists new Real boss Carlo Ancelotti has blocked any moves for players of his former club Paris Saint Germain.

The Spanish giants were linked with moves for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marco Verratti.

But Perez told L’Equipe: “We will not approach any player. Not Ibrahimovic nor Verratti or anyone else.”
