Harambee Stars captain Olunga wins Qatar League Golden Boot

Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga has won the 2021-2022 Qatar League Golden Boot.
The Kenyan international scored 24 goals as his Al Duhail side finished second behind Al Sadd.
Olunga has enjoyed success with the Arabian club, notably winning the top scorer's award for the AFC Champions League last season.
Olunga however missed out on the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the year award which was given to Al Sadd’s Akram Afif.
Andrey Ayew came second behind Olunga with 15 goals as Afif came third after scoring 14 goals and providing 17 assists.

This is the second top scorer award the striker has won abroad, having achieved a similar feat during his time at Kashiwa Reysol.
Olunga led his club to the Emir Cup victory against Al-Gharafa, scoring once in a 5-1 win.
