Vihiga Bullets on Sunday climbed out of the bottom of the FKF Premier League standings after defeating FC Talanta 2-1 in a match played at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.

The win moved Bullets to 11th in the log on 12 points, two more than Mathare United who dropped to the bottom of the log after their 3-0 defeat to Nzoia Sugar. Talanta remained ninth on 27 points.

In Nairobi, AFC Leopards came from behind twice to force a 2-2 draw against Bandari at Nyayo Stadium.

Marvin Nabwire scored in the 81st minute to earn Leopards a point. Bandari went to 28 points on eighth position while Leopards remained at position 10 on 27 points.

Johana Mwita gave Banadari the lead in the 18th minute before Maxwell Otieno equaled at the half hour mark.

However, the Dockers had the last laugh in the opening half after Abdalla Hassan restored Bandari’s one goal advantage as the vistors took a 2-1 lead to the break.

In the final half, Anthony Kimani’s charges held off Ingwe with good defensive set plays but their dream of coming out of Naiorbi with all three points went up in smokes when Nabwire scored in the 81st minute.
