Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST RFC) will be seeking to bounce back to winning ways when they travel to play defending champions KCB in a Kenya Cup match set to be staged at KCB Sports Club on Saturday.

MMUST have found the going tough in their last four matches which has left them sixth in the log with 10 points.

The Kakamega based team has lost their last four matches against Menengai Oilers, Strathmore Leos, Kenya Harlequin and Kabras Sugar.

Speaking to the Standard Sports, MMUST assistant head coach John Asila said they are in good shape and are ready to show the doubters that they are a strong side.

“We are playing very well at the moment and it is just some slight mistakes that are affecting the team. We know Kabras are a force to reckon in Kenya Cup but have trained well all week and we will be ready for them,” explained Asila.

KCB are fourth in the log with 21 points but with a game in hand against Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad.

In other matches, Homeboyz take on Mwamba at Jamhuri while Blak Blad and Nondescripts battle at the Kenyatta University.
