Last season’s runners up KCB will host league leaders Kakamega Homeboyz in what will be the highlight of the weekend in a FKF Premier League match that will be the battle for the top spot to be played at Kasarani Stadium.

Homeboyz will have an uphill task against KCB, despite Bernard Mwalala's charges leading the log on 28 points, three ahead of the bankers.

After losing their 11-match unbeaten run to FC Talanta, Homeboyz bounced back with a slim 1-0 win over Kariobangi Sharks at Kenya Sports Club Utalii last weekend.

KCB, under the tutelage of experienced coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno missed a chance to go top last weekend following 1-0 loss to Bidco United.

The winner of the match will top the log

Elsewhere, defending champions Tusker will be hoping to put behind their disappointing 1-0 defeat at the hands of Posta Rangers when they entertain Nairobi City Stars at Ruaraka Grounds.

The brewers have had a very slow start to their title defense season where they have lost five matches and won five.

Record champions Gor Mahia too will be praying that their 1-0 victory over Mathare last weekend pushes them past FC Talanta.
